Tea With Mary

My strikingly beautiful friend Katie has always been one of those people that can take something plain and make it into something spectacular. She is crafty in the very best sense of the word and I have always admired her for it.

Well, she lives in Truckee, California (and, like me, is struggling with leaving the city she loves for the man she loves - in her case, the city was Denver and the man is Hayes) and during the day works at a non-profit that helps find affordable housing for families who have a hard time affording to live in a resort community. She also has a hand-made card business and sells her cards in several stores in Denver and Truckee. I recently received a packet of the above card in the mail with a lovely letter telling me that this is her latest creation - inspired by me! It's called "Tea With Mary" and is supposedly selling very well.
